Pharmacist Adolphe Panchaud launches LACTINA (pet food) and INTERLAC Switzerland (milking hygiene).

1987

Acquisition of the sun protection brand Soleil des îles in France. Expansion of activities in the areas of sales, marketing and communication

1991

Foundation of INTERLAC Laboratoires in HINDISHEIM, Alsace (FRANCE).

2009

Restructuring – Expansion of the cosmetics business for pharmacies and supermarkets.

2019

This year marks a turning point for INTERLAC Laboratoire, which focuses its activities on environmental responsibility.

2021

Takeover by the SSPI Group and management by Yves Ruck. Interlac Laboratoire becomes Interlac France.

FROM ITS BEGINNINGS ...

Born from the inventiveness and enthusiasm of its founder, Interlac has grown over the years. When our great-grandfather Adolphe Panchaud invented and developed milking fat at the end of the 19th century, he probably had no idea how much this simple product would revolutionize the world of agriculture. He probably had no idea how many applications there would be in the future in such diverse areas as cosmetics and dermatology, pharmacy and technology.

140 years later, the company, founded in Switzerland in 1882, celebrates a Europe-wide success with one product: milking fat, whose petroleum-based formula, passed down from generation to generation, has remained unchanged.

Interlac France still diversifies the factory of its founder, but has also specialized in the Privat Label, production and packaging of a wide range of galenic products.

As the market leader in milking grease and at the forefront of innovation that represents the incredible diversification of this product, Interlac has completely redesigned the organization of its production facilities. Since 1993, the cosmetic and dermatological products have been manufactured exclusively in Hindisheim in Alsace, in an efficient factory fully adapted to the specific manufacturing requirements of milking fat and other care products. Modern technology and perfected processes enable fully automated production at the best industrial production costs.
